I can totally sympathize here.

…elf that I’d rather stay an addict for the rest of my life than to keep dealing with panic attacks. In all honesty, even now, if I had to choose between a life of addiction and a life of daily panic attacks, I’d seriously consider going with the addictions. That’s how terrible the attacks are.
